Publix Managers Hold a Volunteer Day at the GGCCM Food Bank
On Thursday, September 24, the managers of the Publix locations in Greeneville and Johnson City spent the day at the GGCCM Food Bank helping out in several ways. They served clients alongside the regular volunteers packing grocery carts for families, they put together furniture for a family who lost all their possessions when their home was destroyed this summer, and they built a new raised bed with direction from food bank volunteer Pete DeCicco to be the center of the landscaping at the food bank.
